適用範圍

本政策適用於 Go-OnSoft(開發者:TOYA)發布的 Chrome 擴充功能「QuickTruth」。本擴充功能在 facebook.com 的貼文旁提供查核按鈕。

我們存取的資料

QuickTruth 只會讀取您在 facebook.com 頁面上所看到的貼文與留言文字,用途僅限於顯示查核按鈕,以及在您主動點擊按鈕時進行查核。擴充功能不要求您註冊或登入任何帳號,也不蒐集姓名、電子郵件、帳號、瀏覽紀錄或位置。

資料如何被使用與傳送

「查核是否已知謠言」按鈕:僅在您點擊時,擴充功能會把該則貼文的文字(最多前 500 字,已移除「查看更多」等介面文字)以及由貼文切出的數個短關鍵字(每個最多 8 字),傳送至下列兩個公開的事實查核服務,以搜尋既有的查核紀錄:

• Cofacts 真的假的(api.cofacts.tw)
• 台灣事實查核中心(tfc-taiwan.org.tw)

傳送內容不含您的 Facebook 帳號、姓名或任何可識別您身分的資料;但如同任何網路請求,這些服務可能會看到您的 IP 位址,其處理方式依各服務自己的政策為準。

「AI簡單核實」與「AI語意分析」按鈕:使用 Chrome 內建的裝置端 AI(Gemini Nano)在您的電腦上執行,貼文文字不會傳送到任何伺服器,也不會傳送給開發者。

資料儲存

為了避免重複查詢,擴充功能會把查核結果暫存在瀏覽器的工作階段儲存空間(chrome.storage.session)中,最長 10 分鐘,並在您關閉瀏覽器時清除。擴充功能不會把貼文內容永久儲存。當您點擊「複製成圖片」時,擴充功能會把產生的圖片寫入您的剪貼簿,僅此而已。

資料分享與販售

開發者不營運任何伺服器,不會蒐集、出售、出租或分享您的資料,也不使用廣告或分析工具。除上述您主動觸發的查核請求外,擴充功能不會對外傳送任何資料。

第三方內容來源

查核結果來自 Cofacts 真的假的(採 CC BY-SA 4.0 授權)與 台灣事實查核中心(依其著作權聲明),擴充功能介面中均會標示來源。

兒童隱私

我們不會刻意蒐集 13 歲以下兒童的個人資料。

Scope

This policy applies to the "QuickTruth" Chrome extension published by Go-OnSoft (developer: TOYA). The extension adds fact-check buttons next to posts on facebook.com.

Data the extension accesses

QuickTruth reads only the post and comment text you see on facebook.com pages, solely to display its buttons and to run a check when you click one. It requires no account or sign-in and does not collect your name, email, account identifiers, browsing history or location.

How data is used and transmitted

"Check for known rumors" button: only when you click it, the extension sends the text of that post (up to the first 500 characters, with interface text such as "See more" removed) and a few short keywords cut from the post (up to 8 characters each) to the following public fact-checking services to look up existing fact-checks:

• Cofacts (api.cofacts.tw)
• Taiwan FactCheck Center (tfc-taiwan.org.tw)

The request contains no Facebook account, name or other identifying information. As with any web request, these services may see your IP address and handle it under their own policies.

"AI quick verify" and "AI semantic analysis" buttons: these run on your computer using Chrome's built-in on-device AI (Gemini Nano). The post text is not sent to any server, and is not sent to the developer.

Data storage

To avoid repeated lookups, the extension caches fact-check results in the browser's session storage (chrome.storage.session) for at most 10 minutes; it is cleared when you close the browser. Post content is never stored permanently. When you click "Copy as image", the generated image is written to your clipboard and nothing else.

Sharing and sale of data

The developer operates no servers and does not collect, sell, rent or share your data, and uses no advertising or analytics. Apart from the lookups you trigger as described above, the extension sends no data anywhere.

Third-party content sources

Results come from Cofacts (licensed CC BY-SA 4.0) and the Taiwan FactCheck Center (under its copyright statement). Sources are credited in the extension's interface.

Children's privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

Changes

Any changes to this policy will be posted on this page with an updated date.
